Crisp fall wind swept up from the bay, sailing over the shore and passing through the dunes. It danced southward all over the marina, where the boats drifted, gently knocking on each other they lay untouched in the off season. The fish in the bay had migrated to the far east to breed in the significantly less tumalant waters of the Dragoun Islands. The fishermen, who usually busied themselves round the bay, where instead forced to shutter themselves in their homes and mutter about the coming of the frost, much to the annoyance of the wives who would kick out their moody husbands and invite over the other woman.
